#14 Article Review
Technology is now. It is part of our generation and it is never going away any time soon. This article tells how the teachers are able to have students complete homework and tasks on the computer at ease. The internet and computer is there for teachers to set learning goals with students. Teachers are also supposed to be able to step away from the computer and be comfortable without them as well. Internet and computers are also there to capture the desire for students to explore and find information on their own.
Teachers need to develop a way of making the student intrigued in the learning. Without the students' attention the teachers are not going to successfully make an impact on the students. Students are interested in internet and technology. Teachers that include that in their classroom win. The desire for students to capture their own research and inquire more information allow students to grasp hard tasks at young ages. If student learn at young ages to find peer reviewed journals now, their future research and information to come will guide them in the right direction!

#13 Article Review
We all know that ADHD exists, and we all know how it impacts everyone. It effects the teacher who has to deal with the hyperactive student, the student who loses focus, and the surrounding peers who end up watching the student disrupting the classroom. We also know that it's not something students at younger ages are able to deal with in the right manner. Doctors who see any remnants ADHD instantly provide meds and Rx for students. Honestly, the issue is the fact that students have to sit in desk for the majority of the day. When students have low balance and core strength, the students are antsy and fidgiters.
For the teachers who have to deal with the poor balance of students, lesson plans need to be active and withhold movement. Movement in the classroom is important to keep blood flowing and bodies focused. As adults, most of our jobs are active and moving jobs, but some require a desk and chair and sitting all day. Secretaries, teachers, and accountants sit all day, but are able to get up and move when they need. These workers can go get coffee, get an apple, or tap a walk around. Students are required to stay seated unless they have an emergency to use the restroom. I can vouch for the fact that if I am seated for long periods of time, I am antsy and talkative as well. The answer to this is movement in the classroom. Have students do 3 pushups after reading a paragraph. Have students do 20 jumping jacks inbetween subjects. Students can lunge all the way to the cubbies, doors, or bathroom. There are multiple ways to get students moving and active without using too much class time.

#12 Video For the Future Classroom
Video #1 was a basic play by play of what the new technology that we have available in this time at use for classrooms and schools. Simply things like QR codes for reminders, casting images onto the screens from a smaller electronic are all things we can do now, but are implementing them into schools yet.
Video #2 has a narrator explaining to future teacher, current teacher, administrators and all other personal in school about how technology is taking over our time. In this upcoming generation, we have to grow the schools resources and tools to allow the students to grow in their learning. I loved the quote “I should not have to keep up with school, my school should keep up with me.” This gives the author point of view a valid point.
Video #3 gives a prime example of why schools are so far behind on technology. Student as extremely comfortable with iPads and laptops and other gadgets, but schools struggle to provide them for their students. With Norway’s livings coming from the oil field and it soon could come to an end, their schools need to be implementing the RIGHT usage of technology in the classrooms. Norway is said to send the most money on schools than most countries, but yet their scores are average and their dropout rates are high. Norway has to do something to intrigue the students to learn and stimulate their materials they learn. The author’s point of view is a strong example of how to CORRECTLY use the technology, get the teachers involved of using the technology right, and have the right way for students to learn and be hands on.
Video #4 if the architect and the designers use a creative way to change the layouts of the schools in ways that benefit everyone. Little things like windows in the gym and no built in seats in the auditorium could make a huge difference in such ways. Having a different atmosphere than just sitting in rows and seats in the classroom is less than beneficial to 20% of students. The interactiveness and allowing the creativity to flow from students uses most aspects of the curriculum that need to be met. Open spaces help the students feel more relaxed and free. The freedom lets them avoid distractions and implement group work. The author’s point of view is great for the older classroom settings. I don't believe that these tools that the author is using would be beneficial to younger, developing children.
Video #5 is full of resources for all teachers, new, experienced, whatever. This videos gives you so many useful site and programs to use in your classrooms to improve student learning and engagement. Some of these I have heard of, but for the majority of them, I have not. I saved this link for my future use as a teacher.
Video #6 gives the opportunity for the teachers to seek out their point of views based upon the use of technology in the classroom. They explain how they use it, the time spent, what student learn, how students can voice themselves, and how to incorporate all students, even the shy ones. The teachers have valid points based upon the technology and can show how using it in the classroom benefits so much!
